Sharing a chat
Open Share chat from the top right of a conversation to choose private, team, or public access for a snapshot of the thread so far.
How to share a chat
- Open the chat you want to share.
- Select the Share icon in the top right of the chat window (next to Star). The Share chat menu opens.
- Choose who can view the shared chat:
- Private — Only you have access.
- Team members — Only members of your team can view.
- Public access — Anyone with the link can view.
Only messages up until now are included. Future messages in the thread are not added unless you open Share chat again and update the share.
When to use it
- Share a useful answer or analysis with a colleague
- Give teammates a snapshot of how you worked through a problem
- Send a public link when the recipient does not need a Littlebird account
Note
The share captures a snapshot at the moment you create or update it. If you continue the conversation and want the new messages included, open Share chat again to refresh what others can see.
