How Littlebird sees

See what Littlebird notices while you work, what it ignores, and how to pause Context Awareness or exclude an app.

While you work, Littlebird regularly reads visible text and elements from your active application. It uses this context to answer questions about your recent work.

  • it reads visible content from the active application
  • it doesn’t record screen video or individual keystrokes
  • it’s designed to ignore password fields
  • it skips apps you exclude and stops while context awareness is paused
  • it encrypts captured data and stores it in AWS

Try it

Open a document and let Littlebird collect context. Then open Chat:

Prompt

Summarize the document I was just reading.

On a Mac, you can enable Hummingbird in Settings → Hummingbird, open the document, and double-tap Option. Hummingbird can read the active screen when you ask.

Note

Read Context awareness for the controls, then read Privacy and security for storage and security details.
